Why Don’t the Upper CSI Socket Address Bits
Toggle on the A7?

A bug was found in FastChip 2.2.0 where the upper address bits of the CSI bus socket are stuck High or Low in some cases.  This bug only affects the CSI bus socket address bits and not the actual address value on the CSI bus.

This bug only affects socket address lines A[31:8].

The designs affected are those using the following CSI bus socket primitives.

  • A31_28
  • A27_24
  • A23_20
  • A19_16
  • A15_12
  • A11_8

A work-around is posted for download from the Triscend FTP site.
